Chapter 25: Not Like a Girl
Chen Chen froze for a moment.
Tian Siyi really hadn't said anything else about Bai Hang.
He could only look at Tian Siyi again.
She understood what he meant. Frowning, she looked at Bai Hang.
"You're asking my friend that question right in front of me. Don't you think that's a little inappropriate? If you want to know what I think of you, why don't you ask me directly? Do you think I wouldn't tell you the truth?"
Bai Hang was left speechless.
He only wanted to hear Tian Siyi's honest opinion because he thought she might hold back if he asked her face to face.
But after thinking about it, he realized they were talking about it right in front of her.
"I'm sorry..."
He lowered his head and apologized without hesitation.
Tian Siyi sighed.
The fact that he was asking this question meant he still hadn't given up on her.
She had thought what she said yesterday had worked, but apparently it hadn't.
It was giving her a headache.
She knew she had become much more attractive after turning into a girl, but she hadn't expected it to be this hard to make someone give up.
"Forget it. There's no need to ask anymore. I can tell you're a good person. I don't want to hurt you, and I don't want to be the kind of girl who keeps someone hoping without ever giving them an answer. That's why I made myself clear from the very beginning. Bai Hang nodded hard.
As for how much of what she said actually went into his head... no one knew.
Zhao Xiaoqi blinked at Tian Siyi.
It was the first time she had ever seen someone reject another person's feelings so seriously and directly.
Tian Siyi was even more straightforward than she had imagined.
Tian Siyi gently patted Zhao Xiaoqi on the head and smiled.
"What are you thinking? Do you think I shouldn't have rejected him?"
Zhao Xiaoqi nodded.
"It does feel a little strange. Back at our school, when girls ran into this kind of situation, they usually just ignored it. After a while, the boys would naturally give up."
"What if they don't give up?"
As she spoke, Tian Siyi looked at Chen Chen with a faint smile.
Chen Chen immediately understood that she was talking about him.

One mistake really can haunt you forever.
Just because of what had happened with Zhou Jiajia, Tian Siyi was probably going to tease him about it for the rest of his life.
Thinking back, she actually had warned him before.
He just hadn't listened. So now he couldn't complain about being reminded of it.
The only thing he could do was pretend he didn't know what she meant.
But Zhao Xiaoqi understood that look in a completely different way.
She didn't know what kind of relationship Tian Siyi and Chen Chen had.
But she was certain there was a story behind it.
She decided not to ask today.
After all, both boys were here, and asking would only make things awkward.
When she got the chance later, she was definitely going to make Tian Siyi tell her everything.
Tian Siyi continued, "Anyway, if you can make things clear from the start, it's always better to do that."
Zhao Xiaoqi nodded.
Explaining things clearly in advance really could prevent a lot of trouble.
The problem was that people were often either too lazy or too embarrassed to say things directly, turning simple situations into complicated ones.

Zhao Xiaoqi started telling Tian Siyi all the funny stories that had happened during military training. Most of them were complaints about their instructor.
They chatted for almost half an hour before Qin Siyu, whose eyelids were getting heavier and heavier, finally told everyone to leave.
She yawned and said, "Alright, alright. You can continue talking after you go back. We need to rest now. You should all go back and take a nap too. You still have military training this afternoon."
Since the instructor had asked them to leave, no one wanted to stay any longer.
After saying goodbye to Tian Siyi, they all left.
The medical room became quiet again, leaving only Qin Siyu and Tian Siyi inside.
"Alright, let's get some sleep. My medical room hasn't been this lively in a long time. I'm exhausted."
There were already beds in the medical room, so Qin Siyu casually picked one and lay down.
"You already said that before." Tian Siyi smiled while playing with her phone.
"So what? Can't I say it again?"
"Of course you can."
As she spoke, Tian Siyi stood up and poured herself a glass of water.
Watching her limp across the room, Qin Siyu shook her head.
"You really are something. Why didn't you ask one of your classmates to get the water for you?"
"There was no need. It's not like I'm so badly hurt that I can't walk."
Tian Siyi finished the glass in a few big gulps. Then she poured half a cup of hot water, leaving it to cool on the table before lying down on another bed.
Qin Siyu turned to look at her.
"You're just too stubborn. You could act a little more delicate. I'm sure plenty of men would be happy to take care of you."
Even now, many boys had crowded outside the medical room just to catch a glimpse of Tian Siyi.
Qin Siyu believed that if Tian Siyi wanted to, even more men would fall for her.
"I don't like owing people too many favors. If I keep accepting them, one day I might end up giving myself away in return."
"If someone really treated you that well, marrying him wouldn't be such a bad thing, would it?"
Tian Siyi had never thought that far ahead.
She didn't like planning a future that was still so far away, especially in an area she knew nothing about.

She couldn't imagine it at all.

"Yes."
Tian Siyi had rejected Bai Hang very firmly earlier, leaving him no room to hope.

Her question immediately caught Qin Siyu's interest.
She slowly opened her half-closed eyes and smiled.
"You don't seem like a girl? If you don't seem like a girl, then no one at this training camp does. As a doctor, I can promise you this. Physically, you're one hundred percent a real girl. And not just that, you're an extremely attractive girl who easily catches men's attention."
"That's not what I meant. I meant..."
Tian Siyi scratched her head, trying to find the right words.
