Chapter 29: Treatment Fit for a Big Star

After seeing that Yan Yue was awake, Chen Chen and Mo Yang left first. Qin Siyu also went back to her seat and started using her phone, leaving Tian Siyi alone to take care of Yan Yue.

Over the past two days, Tian Siyi had helped out a lot, so Qin Siyu completely trusted her.

Now that Yan Yue was awake, there wasn't much left for Qin Siyu to do. She could leave everything to Tian Siyi.

Tian Siyi changed the ice pack for Yan Yue and gently wiped the sweat from her arms and neck before sitting back down beside her bed.

Yan Yue looked at Tian Siyi, unable to hide her embarrassment. She didn't really have any personal grudge against Tian Siyi.

The only reason she had gotten into conflict with her was because she followed Wang Xiaoxiang.

As for why Wang Xiaoxiang hated Tian Siyi, Yan Yue knew the reason, but she thought it was ridiculous.

Wang Xiaoxiang liked Bai Hang.

But Bai Hang didn't like Wang Xiaoxiang.

Back in high school, Bai Hang had already been quite popular, but he had never shown much interest in any girl.

Because of that, even though Wang Xiaoxiang had failed to win his heart, she hadn't been too worried.

But things were different now.

On the very first day of military training, Bai Hang had shown a strong interest in Tian Siyi.

That was something Wang Xiaoxiang simply couldn't accept.

Naturally, she wasn't going to let Tian Siyi, who had gotten in her way, off easily.

Yan Yue understood that.

Yan Yue apologized in a voice so quiet it was almost impossible to hear.

Tian Siyi heard her.

But she had no intention of accepting the apology.

Those girls had come looking for trouble for no reason.

And now, after losing the fight, they wanted to apologize?

The warmth disappeared from her eyes, replaced by a cold expression that made Yan Yue feel nervous.

Tian Siyi gave a cold snort.

"If apologies solved everything, then why would we need the police? You should know very well what would have happened to me yesterday if I hadn't beaten you all."

Yan Yue lowered her head.

Tears slowly formed in the corners of her eyes.

She didn't believe that Tian Siyi would bully someone, even though her attitude seemed a little strange.

It was better to find out what had happened first.

She gently patted Yan Yue on the back, then walked over to Tian Siyi and quietly asked,

"What happened?"

"You should ask her yourself. The things she did are so embarrassing that I don't even want to say them."

Still crying, Yan Yue said, "I'm sorry... I wronged Tian Siyi..."

"Huh?"

Qin Siyu scratched her head in confusion.

After comforting Yan Yue for quite a while, she finally understood the situation.

In short, Yan Yue had been part of the group that tried to bully Tian Siyi.

Fortunately for Tian Siyi, they had failed.

Now, after being rescued by Tian Siyi and receiving such careful care from her, Yan Yue's emotional defenses seemed to have completely broken down.

Qin Siyu looked at Yan Yue, then at Tian Siyi.

This situation felt completely backwards.

Shouldn't Tian Siyi be the one crying? Why was Yan Yue the one in tears? Those girls really had some nerve.

Now that she understood what had happened, Qin Siyu looked at Yan Yue with obvious displeasure.

"Since you know you were wrong, tell me something. What is that Wang Xiaoxiang still planning to do? I heard you girls are still waiting around to target Siyi."

Yan Yue took a deep breath and was about to answer when the door to the medical office suddenly opened.

"Yueyue, how are you?"

Before anyone saw who it was, they heard a loud, cheerful voice.

Qin Siyu frowned slightly, clearly unhappy.

Was this really how someone should behave when visiting a sick person?

Yan Yue's expression stiffened. She quickly wiped away the tears at the corners of her eyes and forced a smile.

"Why are you all here?"

"We came to check on you, of course. If you're feeling better, hurry back to military training. This place smells awful. Even the disinfectant can't cover it up."

As she spoke, she waved her hand in front of her nose and deliberately glanced toward Tian Siyi.

Tian Siyi rolled her eyes.

She had only become a little well-known, yet it seemed she already had haters everywhere.

She recognized the girls.

They were also followers of Wang Xiaoxiang, though Wang Xiaoxiang herself hadn't come.

It seemed Wang Xiaoxiang didn't treat her followers very well.

Thinking about it, that made sense.

If Wang Xiaoxiang had treated them well, Yan Yue wouldn't have been moved to tears just because someone had shown her a little kindness.

"Okay, I'll be right there."

Yan Yue got out of bed and quickly straightened the bedsheet.

Then she quietly leaned close to Tian Siyi and whispered in her ear,

"Don't go to the staff dormitory."

One of the girls who had come to get her frowned and shouted,

"What are you doing? Why are you making the bed? Isn't that what the people here are supposed to do?"

Yan Yue said nothing more and hurried over to them.

Tian Siyi watched them leave with a cold expression before walking over to the table across from Qin Siyu and resting her head on it.

Qin Siyu gently rubbed her head. "You've really been through a lot."

"I'm not really upset," Tian Siyi said. "I'm just annoyed. It feels like people keep targeting me."

Qin Siyu smiled bitterly.

"That must be what people mean when they say, 'It's not the thief you fear, it's the thief who keeps thinking about you'."

Tian Siyi nodded.

She had already scared them off by beating them once.

Why wouldn't they just leave her alone?

Qin Siyu gently stroked her head.

This poor girl had really been dragged into trouble for no reason.

It was Bai Hang who had caused all of this, yet she was the one dealing with all the consequences.

"Oh, right," Qin Siyu asked. "What did Yan Yue whisper to you before she left?"

"She told me not to go to the staff dormitory. They're planning to wait for me there. Chen Chen already warned me about it."

Qin Siyu comforted her.

"It's okay. Stay with me, and I'll make sure you're safe."

"Okay."

Tian Siyi nodded.

For now, letting Qin Siyu help her deal with these problems seemed like the only choice.

"But you have to be careful too," Qin Siyu continued. "Whenever you go anywhere, stay with me. If I'm not around, go with Chen Chen. Don't wander around by yourself, okay?"

"I know."

She couldn't help joking,

"I haven't even become a big star yet, but I'm already getting the treatment of one. I need a bodyguard every time I go out."

Qin Siyu laughed and continued the joke.

"Then when you really become a big star, you can hire me as your bodyguard. I was pretty good at hand-to-hand combat in the military."

"That sounds great. You can also work as my personal doctor."

"Then you'll have to pay me two salaries."

After joking around for a while, Tian Siyi felt much better.

She had never been the type to stay depressed. If she let a few awful people ruin her good mood, that would be a huge loss.

She lightly patted her cheeks and smiled again.

"I'm done thinking about those idiots. They can do whatever they want."

"That's more like the Tian Siyi I know, the future superstar!"
