Chapter 61: Hurt Because She Hadn’t Trained Enough
In one night, over eight hours, she did not know how many dreams she had. From childhood all the way to before the accident, Cheng Fei felt like a full TV drama had been forced into her head, with the station controlling it remotely and replaying it nonstop.
So when she woke up and her mind slowly became clear, she saw herself sleeping in a strange position on top of Gao Ming’s stomach and still foolishly thought the dream had not ended yet.
She and him were still in this position. It was more than just embarrassing, it was simply impossible to describe!
Cheng Fei immediately closed her eyes and sincerely prayed for the god of dreams to wake her up soon.
But she did not move at all. Forget everything else, this soft but firm feeling with abs underneath was even more comfortable than the sofa. Since it was only a dream anyway, so what if it was embarrassing? Feeling good was enough!
“You’ve gone far enough already, haven’t you?”
“Stop talking. Once this moment passes, I’ll wake up soon.”
Gao Ming frowned slightly and grabbed her waist. He could clearly feel her body tremble.
She was this sensitive and already reacting, yet she was still pretending?
“You can feel this in a dream too?”
“Yes! Dreams can get even crazier than this.”
“Can’t you at least check if it’s real?”
“Eh, too lazy to check. I’ll wake up soon anyway.”
Cheng Fei still did not care. The veins on Gao Ming’s forehead bulged. He was reaching the end of his patience!
He suddenly rolled over and pinned her onto the bed. Using both thumbs and index fingers, he forcefully opened her tightly shut eyes.
Without giving her a chance to speak, he fiercely pressed his lips onto her tempting mouth.
The person being kissed twisted weakly. Something seemed to explode inside her body and spread everywhere. Her eyes slowly became blurry. Then, with a burst of strange strength, the slave suddenly turned things around and rode on top instead.
Damn, she had never dreamed about sleeping with a man before. Why the hell did this not feel disgusting and actually feel kind of good?!
Could it be that in only a few months, her more than twenty years of being a straight man at heart had really been completely changed?
Cheng Fei could not believe it. She bent down like she was begging and looked at the confused Gao Ming.
“Brother, mind kicking me once? This dream feels so weird... I don’t even know how to describe it.”
“What... do you want me to do?”
“Just like I said.”
“You really want that?”
Inside, Cheng Fei felt like a tragic hero preparing for death. She nodded bravely.
“Come on then... pfft!”
She was successfully sent onto the floor. But Gao Ming did not kick her. After all, she had a woman’s body now, and he could not bring himself to hit her like that. So he changed his method. He tossed her onto the sofa instead and splashed water from the fish tank onto her.
This cool feeling was definitely not a dream.
Cheng Fei instantly became fully awake. Then all the feelings from before came rushing back too. Endless memories flooded through what little remained of her sense of shame...
Damn! Oh my God! What the hell! Shit!
Without even wiping the water off her face, Cheng Fei bent over awkwardly and hurried to the bathroom. Gao Ming wanted to say something but felt too embarrassed to open his mouth. After the door closed, the silence made things feel even more uncomfortable.
A moment later—
“AHHHH—!!!”
The scream was sharp and deafening. Honestly, it was a normal reaction. Gao Ming held his forehead and sighed.
What a mess.
Knock knock knock!
The knocking on the door came exactly as expected. Cheng Fei’s scream had been incredibly loud. At her age, Guo Rui no longer slept as deeply as when she was young. Since she woke up early, there was no way she could miss that scream.
“Mingming, what happened?”
Gao Ming scratched the back of his head. The knocking also alarmed the person who caused all this trouble. Cheng Fei rushed out in panic. After exchanging looks with Gao Ming for a moment, both of them hurried to open the door together.
Outside, Guo Rui’s face was full of worry. But when she saw the messy clothes and hair of her son and daughter-in-law, she relaxed a little.
“Mom!” x2
The two shouted together. Guo Rui finally let out a breath.
“What exactly happened? Making so much noise this early in the morning, aren’t you afraid of disturbing the neighbors?”
The two of them felt terribly awkward inside. Cheng Fei forced out a dry laugh and instinctively looked at Gao Ming. Actually, it was not that serious. They could have simply said she got scared by a mouse and fooled her. But this unconscious action made Guo Rui start guessing.
Her expression suddenly changed. Guo Rui directly stared at Cheng Fei’s stomach.
Thinking about how long Cheng Fei had already been living together with her son, Guo Rui became secretly excited and immediately asked,
“Feifei, is there some happy news today?”
Had her natural personality been twisted by someone? Happy news? More like tragic news!
Cheng Fei pressed her lips together. Some things were even harder to explain than the truth itself.
“You two... could it be... Feifei, do you need to use an early pregnancy test to make sure?”
Hey!
This old lady really was desperate to have a grandchild. She was almost obsessed. And Gao Ming too, he just had to tell such a huge lie before, making misunderstandings almost unavoidable.
“Mom... you really dare to guess...”
Guo Rui looked confused. Gao Ming, however, felt his heart trembling in fear.
Luckily, at the critical moment, Cheng Fei pulled out something powerful enough to calm the situation and showed it to Guo Rui.
Guo Rui held the small plastic bag in front of her eyes. It was only a little bigger than an ID photo. She stared closely at the eye-catching word on it.
A condom.
Gao Ming turned around and stared at her in shock, like he was looking at some kind of monster.
“We usually use this...”
“Hah...”
Guo Rui let out a heavy sigh and tossed it into the trash can.
So all her happiness had been for nothing. It was only wishful thinking. Still, this kind of thing was better at least. The side effects were almost nothing, much better than taking medicine.
Her eyes moved between the two of them, almost like she was checking for hidden mines. She wanted to say something but held it back.
Even without speaking, they could guess it clearly. She wanted them to stop using those things in the future because she wanted a grandchild.
After Guo Rui left, Gao Ming finally asked the question that bothered him.
“You... why are you carrying that thing around with you?”
Not only Gao Ming wanted to know, Cheng Fei was wondering the same thing!
For no reason at all, why had a condom suddenly appeared in her pajama pocket? She thought about it carefully. If it was for her own use, it really did not seem suitable at all.
There was no way to find out who secretly put it there anymore. Right now, Cheng Fei only wanted to completely separate herself from this thing.
The bright red pajamas she wore had been a gift from Bai Xi and Zheng Qi. And the only place where she could have come into contact with such things was the hotel!
Thinking about it, the answer was probably one of three people. Miao Lei, Zheng Qi, or Bai Xi.
Miao Lei looked honest and clever, but she was not good at expressing herself. Bai Xi clearly had a bold personality deep down, but because of her teacher image, she deliberately held herself back and acted reserved.
As for Zheng Qi, that wild and carefree woman with the personality of a crazy husky, she always acted exactly the same as she looked. If she had done it, she probably would have already sent instructions on how to use it last night.
After thinking about it again and again, it was probably Bai Xi!
“Bai Xi! She doesn’t recommend me having a child this early.”
That sentence sounded a little strange no matter how you heard it. Since when did a best friend care so much about this kind of thing, especially a single woman? But now that the words were already out, there was no taking them back.
“She sure likes to interfere a lot...”
“......”
Poor Teacher Bai. She already worked hard enough teaching children every day, and now she also had to take the blame for this.
Cheng Fei silently apologized in her heart while nervously watching Guo Rui’s back.
Being urged was not scary. The scary part was someone using extreme methods just to get what they wanted.
And soon enough, they realized their guess was right.
The first thing Guo Rui did after going downstairs was make soup. She searched through Gao Ming’s cabinet and pulled out every herb she could find that was supposed to improve health and strengthen the body.
Gao Limin sat there reading the newspaper calmly without saying anything, but inside he was already fully supporting the idea.
People their age already had grandchildren everywhere. He had never liked falling behind others at work, and now the gap had already become obvious. As long as it was not too late, it was fine, but naturally the sooner the better!
Cheng Fei looked at the bubbling soup pot and felt her head instantly grow twice as big.
It was not that she underestimated the situation. It was just that after hearing about so much money, she had completely ignored this part. So what now? Was she really supposed to give the Gao family a big healthy son?
Thinking about it carefully, it was close to ten million already, so maybe it would not be—
Bah! Bah bah bah!!!
Before even talking about having children, he would first have to press her down and “work the fields.” No way! Not in this lifetime!
Cheng Fei’s expression kept changing. One moment she looked excited, the next moment serious. Gao Ming could not even bother watching anymore. Feeling depressed, he lowered his head and returned to his room.
As a special kind of woman, Gao Ming knew Cheng Fei had a headache right now. But honestly, he himself felt even more troubled than she did.
He had underestimated the situation. Or maybe his preparations had not been enough.
The sudden attack caught him completely off guard and threw his thoughts into chaos.
Never fight a battle without preparation, that had always been Gao Ming’s life rule.
Before, when planning the fake marriage, he had already imagined this possibility. He had even imagined how awkward it would be if they were pressured into making a baby.
But imagination on paper was always fake. Simulations could never compare to reality. Only after facing the real thing did he understand that what he imagined and the real situation were on completely different levels.
He slipped into the small study room and leaned back in the chair, stretching out both arms and legs, trying his best to empty his mind.
Slap slap.
The sound of slippers approached.
Science had already proven that natural body fragrance was mostly a myth. Most modern people instead smelled like laundry detergent. And if it was a woman who had been “marinated” in all kinds of makeup products for years, the scent really could be quite pleasant.
Just from the smell alone, Gao Ming already knew who it was. He did not even want to open his eyes.
“Have you figured out how to deal with this yet?”
Letting out a long breath, Gao Ming sighed.
“Sales champion. Judging by your personality, if you’re asking like this, then you probably already have a plan, right?”
Cheng Fei suddenly felt defeated, like her thoughts had been seen through completely.
She had spent so much effort preparing herself, putting on armor, picking up shield and weapon to face the enemy, only to get stabbed directly in her weak spot the moment they met on the battlefield.
Still, losing to Gao Ming was not embarrassing. After all, he really was skilled.
She sat across from him without sitting properly at all, crossing her legs carelessly.
“Ahem...”
Cheng Fei coughed awkwardly.
A moment ago, she had rushed over here in excitement without even thinking about the consequences. But now she finally started wondering what problems her next words might cause.
This owl-like Gao Ming finally opened one eye.
“You’re not the kind of person who can hide things in your heart. Just say it.”
“Oh wow, since when did you secretly start studying psychology? It’s only been a few days, and you already understand people this well?”
This time Gao Ming opened both eyes fully. It was like a calm warrior suddenly becoming murderous after getting angry.
He was already frustrated enough, and now she was still joking around!
Gao Ming suddenly jumped up from the chair. Like grabbing a little chick, he caught the back collar of Cheng Fei’s pajamas, lifted her up, grabbed her arm with the other hand, and started dragging her toward the door.
“If you’re not going to talk, then get out right now.”
“Hey, hey, hey! I’ll talk! I have a—”
“Mmph! Bang!”
Before she could finish speaking, a muffled groan and a loud thud echoed through the small room.
Just now, Cheng Fei had been pushing against the floor with her feet while speaking, trying to resist Gao Ming’s brute strength as he pushed her out. At the same time, she tried turning around properly so she could explain everything clearly.
But the combination of slippers and smooth floor gave almost no friction. Cheng Fei could not steady herself at all. By the time they reached the doorframe, she finally managed to turn around while leaning against the wall.
But Gao Ming was angry and using the full strength of a man. How could her small body possibly resist that?
So Cheng Fei could only watch helplessly as Gao Ming’s chest slammed into her. His hard collarbone struck directly against the bridge of her nose, and her head was pushed hard against the white wall behind her.
The loud sound immediately woke Gao Ming up.
He quickly stepped back and saw Cheng Fei, who had just been in his arms a second ago, now staring blankly with dead-fish eyes while two bright streams of blood flowed from her nose.
“S-sorry... are you okay?”
Cheng Fei wiped the blood with the back of her hand. She was shaking with anger, like someone thrown naked into an icy cave in the middle of winter.
When she opened her palm, she truly wanted to swing it hard across Gao Ming’s face.
But now was not the time for that, so she forced herself to hold back.
“I’ll remember this... I’ll settle the score with you later...”
