Chapter 390: Chen Junjie
Around seven thirty, Su Peng rushed out of the rented apartment in a panic.
His legs felt weak as he ran downstairs. He stumbled and almost fell down the stairs. He checked the time and hurried all the way to the university bus stop, about a ten-minute walk away.
When he arrived, he checked the bus app on his phone. The bus he needed was only a few stops away.
“I should still make it to work,” he said to himself.
Su Peng let out a sigh of relief. If he missed this bus, he would most likely be late.
Only then did he take a moment to fix his messy hair and pat down his clothes and pants, trying to look neat and professional.
He had been tempted by An Han again. His waist and legs still felt weak. He leaned against the bus stop ad board and rubbed his temples in frustration.
Su Peng and An Han were both young and had only just started experiencing these things. They both had a lot of energy. But when it really came down to it, An Han was far stronger and had much better stamina, always leaving him completely worn out.
He had even looked it up online. By normal standards, he was already doing quite well for someone his age. Yet when facing An Han, he still felt a bit insecure…
A bus stopped at the station. Su Peng glanced at it, then lowered his head again, not paying attention.
“Su Peng?”
The voice sounded familiar. He looked up and saw Chen Junjie getting off the back door, pulling a suitcase.
“You only arrived today? Class is about to start.”
“I still have time to go back to the dorm, wash my face, and rest a bit,” Chen Junjie said. He looked tired, clearly short on sleep. He yawned as he walked over and asked casually, “Heading to work?”
“Yeah.”
“If your company is hiring someday, remember to tell me.”
“Sure.”
After greeting him, Chen Junjie didn’t plan to stay at the bus stop. But just as he was about to head to campus, he suddenly stopped and looked closely at Su Peng’s face.
“What’s wrong?” Su Peng asked, a little surprised.
A knowing smile slowly appeared on Chen Junjie’s face, the kind men understand. He grinned and leaned closer, lowering his voice.
“You look exactly like Wang Sheng did after the first time he spent the night out with his girlfriend.”

Wang Sheng’s girlfriend was said to be pretty intense too. After that night, Wang Sheng stayed in bed in the dorm for a whole day.
Su Peng knew about it. If his own body were any weaker, he might have ended up just like Wang Sheng, completely drained.
It was meant as a joke, but seeing Su Peng stay silent, clearly not denying it, Chen Junjie patted his shoulder and teased him.
“Man, your body can’t handle it, huh? So which girl is it? Don’t tell me it’s An Han.”
Su Peng didn’t understand why it couldn’t be An Han. He and An Han were already an open couple.
Just then, his bus arrived. Not wanting to explain any more, Su Peng quickly got on.
As the bus drove away, Chen Junjie’s expression turned strange.
He scratched his head and muttered to himself, “No way… is it really that guy?”
Chen Junjie had never really gotten along with An Han. He had never even thought of An Han as a woman. He honestly felt the world was getting confusing.
“Wait, this is weird. No matter how pretty An Han is, isn’t he still a guy?”
There had been rumors in class that An Han was actually a girl. But Chen Junjie had lived in the same dorm with An Han for two or three years, arguing and fighting all that time. Enemies knew each other best. He clearly remembered what An Han was like, and gender was not even a question.
“Could it really be… a girl?”
Talking to himself, he dragged his suitcase toward the campus. Just as he reached the school gate, he saw An Han riding a bicycle from behind. She rushed past him like a gust of wind.
Chen Junjie was startled. He jumped aside and shouted at her, “Are you in such a hurry to die or what?!”
Only then did An Han notice him. She pressed the brakes, put both feet on the ground, and stopped in front of the security booth. After showing her student ID hanging around her neck to the guard, she turned back and shot Chen Junjie a glare.
Nothing good ever happened when she met this guy. One word or one move from him was enough to make her angry.
And now she was a girl. Su Peng also didn’t like hearing her curse. So, she had to hold herself back.
An Han glared at Chen Junjie with the fiercest look she could manage. But with her big eyes wide open in anger, it didn’t look threatening at all.
Maybe because he didn’t get yelled at, or maybe because An Han looked especially cute when she was angry, Chen Junjie froze for a moment. His anger disappeared right away.
If they didn’t argue, it wouldn’t be interesting.
He looked her up and down. Today, An Han was wearing a loose white cotton T-shirt and tight black jeans. The jeans wrapped her lower body closely, showing the shape of her legs and hips clearly…
Even though they had been in the same class every day recently, he hadn’t paid much attention to her. He knew An Han was good-looking, but he didn’t expect his former roommate to now be good enough to compete for campus beauty.

An Han muttered and was about to ride away. But just as she put one foot on the pedal, she turned back again and asked hesitantly, “What did he say to you?”
Back when she was still a man, she knew some men liked to brag about women. Even though she didn’t believe Su Peng was that kind of person, she still asked just in case.
“I just thought he looked a bit weak, like his kidneys weren’t doing great. His face didn’t look too good.”
“Ah… that… he didn’t say anything else?”
“The bus came. He was in a hurry to get to work.”
Lowering her voice, An Han muttered to herself, “He does seem a bit weak… Maybe I should cook things like oysters and chives for him to help his health. I should also push him to go to the school gym club after work and train his legs for half an hour every day…”
Chen Junjie leaned in curiously. “So you’re really living together with him?”
“What do you think? We’re already engaged.”
His eyes widened. He looked at An Han again in disbelief. “No way?”
“Remember to bring a gift when the time comes~”
An Han really enjoyed seeing this kind of stunned expression. She felt a little shy inside, mixed with the joy of teasing him. But on the surface, she looked greedy for money.
“Don’t come to eat and drink for free without giving anything. I’ll kick you out.”
Chen Junjie grabbed his head in frustration. His whole view of the world felt like it was falling apart.
“Aren’t you… a guy?”
“A girl! Look, it even says so on my student ID.”
“No… I always thought you were just a guy who liked cross-dressing…”
An Han had never used any system items on Chen Junjie, and she had never clearly explained her situation to him. He already didn’t like her much. Thinking she was a cross-dresser was already quite restrained, at least he didn’t suspect she had gone to Thailand for surgery.
