Chapter 396: Suggest Doing It More Often
An Han used to think that “being exhausted and unable to get out of bed” was just an exaggerated way of speaking.
But now she had truly experienced it.
In the morning, she ordered takeout and ate breakfast while sitting on the edge of the bed. Then she slept for another two hours. She stayed in bed doing nothing until noon. Only then did An Han slowly get up, holding the wall as she staggered forward.
Her legs were still very sore and weak.

“Then should I take a bus this afternoon and buy dinner from somewhere farther away?” Su Peng suggested.
“I’ll just cook myself…” she said.
When they entered the bathroom, An Han turned around and looked at Su Peng, who was still trying to follow her inside.
“There’s no need to follow me into the bathroom, right?”
“I’m just worried you might fall.”
“I’m not that weak.”
She rolled her eyes, then turned to look at the glass shower room. Scenes of showering together with Su Peng last night suddenly appeared in her mind.
Her face turned slightly red. Feeling embarrassed, she didn’t dare look at Su Peng’s expression. She took a towel, lowered her head, and started washing up, using her toe to hook the door and close the bathroom.
Su Peng stood outside the door, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. He asked through the door,
“Since we both took the day off, how about going out to watch a movie? We can eat outside too.”
“But I don’t want to go out. I’m too tired,” An Han replied.
“Just staying at home all day?”
“Yeah. Playing on my phone and computer, and the day will pass quickly…”
Listening to her unclear voice while she brushed her teeth, Su Peng played with his phone in one hand and casually asked, “Do you know about systems?”
“What system? Like in novels?” An Han replied without thinking, still brushing her teeth. “I’m tired of system-type novels. They’re all the same. Now I like reading those other-world farming stories…”
“Oh, and also those transformation novels. They feel super immersive!”
Su Peng smiled and treated what he heard in the morning as just something he imagined while half asleep. He shared it casually as a topic.

Suddenly, there was no sound from the bathroom. Even the noise of brushing teeth and washing up completely stopped.

An Han turned her head toward the bathroom door, looking confused.

“Last time?”

She put down the towel and opened the door right away, staring at Su Peng in shock.
“What? You heard my voice last time too?”
